Hi, My ex boss is looking at buying used computer to plate CTP system a platesetter system. He has his sights set on a Heidelberg Trendsetter that he found. He asked me if there is any difference in this Heidelberg Trendsetter and a Creo Trendsetter biut I did not know for sure. I told him that I thought they were identical except branding but that I would confirm that info. So, that's question, are they the same and is there any reason to pursue a Creo unit opposed to a Heidelberg unit.
What should a buyer be aware of and lokk for or look OUT for? Are there options that I should pursue with him to see what this unit has or doesn't have? Who would service and support a used Creo Trendsetter and how would I advise him on service and support of the platesetter?
