Hey, thanks for the replies... I'm new to this shop and I've stepped into a pre-press lead tech role with only having 10 or so years graphic artist experience. The press manager is telling me their color target for press has always been what the ink supplier recommends along with relying on the Pantone book. what would be a correct course of action to ensure our epson proofs are in concert with the press? Like I mentioned we already to the kodak test print calibration on the epson weekly. What I had planned on doing is ordering a T-ref to make sure the pressmans densitometer is correct first.
