Hi, we have been using the Esko DPX 420 model of platemaker for around 7 years. We now have 3 of these machines in the shop. We use them on 5 Heidelburg Quickmasters, a GTO, and a Lithrone 420 Komori. We run very good process color as well as tight register spot color work. We also bounce between metal (some old work not yet scanned and converted to digital) and the polyester without a problem. You will need to use a glycerine based fountain solution and we find an acrylic ink works best.
