Computer To Plate :: CTP for Dummies
Hello all! I am trying to get a better mental picture of how computer to plate or computer to film works. I have been using Hurst Smart Plates for a while now but I just acquired an imagesetter and have a few questions. First here is my setup: (1) PC/Windows based workstation 10/100 Ethernet (1) ColorSpan Rip Station connected to workstation via ethernet (1) Pressmate FS imagesetter connected to the Rip Station This is older technology I know, but it new to me.
