Computer To Plate :: Take off bars on press sheets
Can someone please clarify for me the reason for takeoff bars on a press sheet. Our dayshift pressman has been complaining about work and turn layouts that I've been making for 4/1 jobs. I've been putting our digital colorbar, a Gracol bar and solid CMYK bars over the 4/c portion and either a black or a PMS solid bar over the 1 color portion. He says he needs the 4/c bars across the entire sheet because he needs it as a takeoff bar. Meanwhile the night shift pressman has no problems with the layouts and runs the jobs fine.
